Not gonna bother showing yesterday’s attempt. (It was grey-green🤢) After two days of trying to make vegetable gravy for chips I conceded defeat and made beef stock instead. Oh my. So as a southerner I am ignorant to the ways of chips in gravy. The plan was to tweet/instagram a mini review but I have never made gravy before. I then completely fubar’d the gravy. I had to call in the expert - my dad - who then howled with laughter after finding out how much red wine and thickening agent I put in. Then to top it off that celery falling out the gravy boat ruined the money shot. Oh well, mistakes were made, lessons were learnt.
